The task was to develop an abstract body to which the formal characteristics of a certain colour could be assigned.

the analysis under different lighting conditions and their effect on the light and shadow conditions also played an important role.

In order to characterize the effect of the color red-orange first we had to define it.

The colour represents the transition between the colours red and orange.

Red forms the part of activity, dynamics, danger, temperament, anger and warmth.

These characteristics are balanced by the joy, liveliness, affirmation of life and exuberance of the colour orange.

After collecting different terms, associations and catchwords, we tried to transfer them through sketches to an abstract body.

we opted for an object consisting of a radially intertwined structure.

Since our object consists of 5 equal parts, we mould the 3D printed original form with silicone.

If you compare the two results, you will notice that the colors of the rendered CAD file are not very rich in contrast. some edges could not be displayed correctly.

in the perspective view, however, the program compensates for distortions, so the model retains its shape.

The photography of the final model appears much more vibrant and dynamic due to the many contrasts.

Perspective distortions also contribute to this effect.

However, in addition to the intended edges, there are also shadow edges that can compete with each other.
