The project my b.braun was developed in cooperation with the company Aesculap and Werk_39 under the task of redesigning ring handle instruments, or platform and process design.
The social Intranet serves to improve the communication between the hospitals throughout Germany, the associated CSSD's and Aesculap, as well as B.Braun.
the project required an intensive research in the field of medical instruments, the procedures in the operating theatre and in the clinics as a first step. The digital appearance of the company was also analysed and compared with competitors.
Based on this, various concept ideas were developed for both the digital and analogue subject areas.
Since I noticed some deficits during the inspection of the websites of b.braun, I mainly dealt with the digital products.
A social intranet provides the possibility to improve the communication between the different departments of the company. In the following the user journey and the use during the instrument cycle was clarified.
To illustrate this, the last step involved the creation of a prototype at wireframe level.
Collaboration can be achieved with the help of blog posts and personal messages.
The sart page is dominated by a horizontal navigation bar that contains the most important applications.
Via the contact bar, personal messages can be sent directly to the most contacted colleagues.
The news feed shows the latest posts from subscribed contacts and groups.
The most important applications that MY B.Braun enables are the creation of an individual user profile, a calendar, personal messages, and the independent division of the workplace into several groups.
These groups can be used for both public and internal use. Within these groups, files can be uploaded to a database, for example packing lists (CSSD).
